The Little Green Pig

As I was recently walking down Tres Rios Way, I was birding with my birding friends Leslie and Julie, and we spied something strange, a Green Heron eating a fish that we all felt was too big for the heron.

As we could see, the Green pulled the fish out of the raging current.

And it wasn't letting go of the fish..

It then started to undergo the long process of...eating the fish.  We thought it was going to end up dead.  Not the fish, the Heron.

The Green did admit things were a bit painful...but...

Some things are worth it in the long run!!!!!

And that is the story of the Little Green Pig.
